Third graders in Ms. Sampedro and Mrs. Podolanczuk’s class have been working hard on writing opinion essays in their final unit of study. Students collaborated in partnerships to develop strong claims and used evidence from articles to support their opinions. To bring their learning to life, they practiced public speaking skills through a lively class ”debate on the topic, “Should People Eat Bugs?
