Fifty parents are currently participating in a Parent/Teacher workshop as part of the Second Cup of Coffee series at Washington School. Ms. Anne Hetzel and Mrs. Rachel Mejias are presenting “What Is a DRA?” (Developmental Reading Assessment). Parents are being informed on how a DRA is administered, what are the DRA components and how reading levels are determined. They will leave with a packet of strategies that they can use with their children at home.
