The students at Washington School will be participating in a theme unit called “Color Days”. Each of our “Colors” is associated with one of the six Pillars of Character. We focus on one Pillar each month through May with pertinent activities and classroom discussions. Our program culminates in June with Rainbow Day. We ask that your child wear something with that color on it that day.
Red (Caring) – December 5
Orange (Fairness) – January 9
Yellow (Respect) – February 6
Green (Responsibility) – March 15
Blue (Trustworthiness) – April 3
Purple (Citizenship) – May 8
Rainbow Day – June 5
A reminder notice will be sent the day before to remind you of the color.
