Read Across America Day (March 2nd) is actually celebrated all week at Washington School.  Guest readers included Board of Education Trustee, Ms. Diane Jones, and Rutherford Police Officers Inglese and Kilroe.  The RHS Drama Club presented excerpts of their play, Matilda.  Students, parents, and teachers had the opportunity to pick out new books at the PTA-sponsored Scholastic Book Fair.  Each day the students recited the Read Across America Reader's Oath.  The week culminated with quiet reading on Friday afternoon during our D.E.A.R.
