Students and their parents joined Mayor Frank Nunziato, members of the Rutherford Borough Council, Rutherford Police and Fire Department to to help promote a healthy lifestyle as part of the Mayor’s Wellness Campaign Initiative. Walkers met at Lincoln Park promptly at 8:00am. At the end of the walk, Lincoln School received a Certificate of Recognition (silver level) from the New Jersey Safe Routes to School Program honoring the school’s commitment and support of the program by enabling and encouraging children to walk and bicycle.
