This year, Lincoln second graders visited Richfield Farm and Garden Center in Clifton to learn about planting. Each student received a seedling to plant in the two second grade garden plots on the side of the school. Due to a rainy Spring, the gardens grew bountifully. Ms. DeBouter’s and Ms. Frietag’s students made a huge salad of kale, celery, lettuce, and assorted herbs. Most of the students said it was delicious as they enjoyed the fruits (or vegetables) of their labor!
