The PTA organized donations from Lincoln families this month for an animal shelter, Brick City Rescue. Students placed items under and on our Giving Tree in the main foyer of the school. Mrs. Williams, a parent and Brick City Rescue volunteer, along with another trainer/volunteer brought Grandpa Frank, a senior dog, to do a “meet and greet” today. Grandpa Frank walked our hallways thanking the students for their generosity. This was a valuable lesson for our children to think of our community organizations during this holiday season. Brick City Rescue was able to take more than 12 boxes of food, toys, leashes, collars, bedding and gift cards back to the shelter.
