This morning, 25 first-grade parents enjoyed a workshop entitled, “Practical Strategies for Strengthening Emergent Reading Skills”. The session was part of the Second Cup of Coffee series at Washington School and the Rutherford School District’s Parent Academy. The presenters were the Reading Support teacher, Mrs. Meg Olivo, and Reading Specialist, Mrs. Rachel Mejias.
