The students are settling into their new routines and procedures. Even the preschoolers seem to feel comfortable in their new learning environment. Welcome Back to the 2018-2019 School Year!
Welcome back to an exciting 2018-2019 school year! School opens for all students on Thursday, September 6th. Throughout the summer many teachers came to school and prepared their classrooms to make them exciting and welcoming. Our maintenance and custodial staff worked diligently to get our school organized and clean. The first day of school will certainly be a very positive event for the children. Character Education Poster Winners!
The School Climate Committee hosted a poster contest at each grade level. Students were encouraged to create a poster that captured the spirit of our school's character development program. Each grade level winner received a certificate from the school psychologist and principal and a gift card for Barnes and Noble from the PTA. Learning About Courage
This month Lincoln School is focusing on the hard character trait- Courage. You use courage when you are the first to try something or when you are frightened. You also use courage when you learn something new or try something that is complex. Being brave enough to make mistakes and learn from them every single day, takes great courage.
