Field Day is scheduled for May 13 (rain date May 19). All 1st to 3rd graders will attend from 8:30am-1:30pm. School will close at 1:30pm. Author Visit by Karen Orloff
Karen Orloff, author of I Wanna Iguana, visited Lincoln School on April 6. Mrs. Orloff read several of her stories to the students, as well as explained how an author created a book and it gets published. Ms. Orloff surprised many students when she said she had never met the illustrators of her books, and that she has very little input on the illustrations. Third grade classes participated in an activity to develop ideas for stories.
