At the end of the year all students participated in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) units. Teachers planned science units that integrated the four STEM themes. First grade students reexamined fairy tales from a scientist's point of view while second graders worked on a theme based on Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences. Students Create Mural
The artists of Lincoln School created a mural to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the school. Mrs. Clossey designed the mural and then parent volunteers guided students' painting. Field Day Canceled May 16th
Dear Parents, The weather report is not looking good for tomorrow. I am canceling field day for May 16th and using the Rain Date of May 20th. The same procedure will be in effect for May 20th: All K arrive 8:45 and stay until 1:20 p.m. YMCA K students will be bussed to Lincoln at 1:40. All 1-3 students will arrive by 8:30 and stay until 1:30. YMCA will be open from 1:30-6:30 p.m. Pizza lunch is on tomorrow as it was included in the last order. Tennis will be held tomorrow as well.
