The third grade students read an article in Time for Kids about a special FBI agent that assists in detecting materials. FBI Agent Scott and his K-9 partner Roxy mentioned in the article came to visit. Agent Scott explained how he trains with Roxy every week so that they are prepared in case of an emergency. Holiday Boutique
The PTA sponsors a Holiday Boutique on December 8th where students can shop for members of their family. Items are reasonably priced at $2 each. The PTA also has Bulldog wear available. Parents may want to help their child make a list of people to shop for and the amount to be spent. This is always a memorable day and students sometime sneak presents for themselves! The Mitten Tree—December 4-18th
The PTA will once again this year organize a collection of new blankets, mittens, hats, scarves, and gloves to be donated to a food pantry from December 4-18th. Items will be placed on our tree located in the main foyer of the school. Students enjoy bringing their donations and placing them on the tree.
