The second grade students at Lincoln School immersed themselves in Black history this month. Each student researched people from Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math, as well as a variety of influential people in communities throughout the world. They discovered the nuances and richness of Black History and were inspired to draw portraits of these important figures in our world both past and present. After drawing, the students wrote an important fact and 3 character traits of their person. The second grade hallway at Lincoln School is full of such rich history that deserves the spotlight.
