Lincoln celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday by listening to books read by town council members, Board of Education trustees, librarians, Mr. Tony, Mr. Joe and RPD officers. The RHS students came to visit. World of Raptors
The third graders created models of raptors with Ms. Ogden, the elementary science specialist. The Theropod Raptor models before you are the completed concept designs of the ancestors of the modern birds. These animals survived the mass extinction of their larger relatives and, in fact, thrived, by adapting to a changing Earth. Our 3rd grade students were immersed into a world of change that favored the "fittest" via Natural Selection, beneficial adaptations, and variations that occur naturally in any species.
