This year, Lincoln second graders visited Richfield Farm and Garden Center in Clifton to learn about planting. Each student received a seedling to plant in the two second grade garden plots on the side of the school. Due to a rainy Spring, the gardens grew bountifully. Ms. DeBouter's and Ms. Frietag's students made a huge salad of kale, celery, lettuce, and assorted herbs. Third grades were the first grade to enjoy today’s hot and perfect weather for Tar Beach. Grades 1 and 2, as well as the PreK classes, will have their turn in the coming days. 2nd Graders Take Walking Tour of Rutherford
Lincoln School 2nd graders participated in a walking tour of the important places and architecture of Rutherford – past and present.
