On May 22nd Mr. Potor and his district colleagues planned a virtual field day for students and even some parents. Physical education teachers sent students directions and videos on over twenty activities. Students selected their favorites like clothes hamper racing, cup stacking, and table ping pong and competed against family members. Mr. Potor then biked around town blowing his “field day whistle” signaling the start of the games. Many students and parents came out to visit Mr. Potor when they heard the whistle One family even ordered pizza like we normally do on Field Day and other families had orange slices at their rest stations!
