Every month, the school focuses on a positive character trait. At the end of the month, teachers are asked to name a student or students who exemplified that trait that month. Letters are sent home and an “apple” is put on the Citizens of the Month tree in the hallway representing that students. Character traits explored this year were: fairness, bravery, creativity, kindness, forgiveness, hope and zest.
