Celebrate the Importance of Social Emotional Learning
Our school community works to develop students socially, emotionally, and academically. This year’s emphasis has been to use and enhance social emotional skills to remain connected and engaged during the pandemic. Today, March 26th, the Kindergarten Center joins students and educators within our community and across the globe to celebrate the importance of social emotional (SEL) on the second annual International SELday.
The Kindergarten Center actively incorporates social emotional learning throughout the year to build a safe, positive and supportive learning environment for all students. Today’s celebration of social emotional learning is built off of previous learning experiences already in place through ongoing coordination and collaboration of our staff and our Student Assistant Counselor, Ms. Emily Bregman!
