Thanks to the PTA's Principal for the day Raffle, Principal Addy officially took the reins today, and she had a packed schedule!  She started her morning with bright smiles at morning drop-off, visited every classroom, and even checked in with the PTA at Beach Day. Mrs. Parkinson’s kindergarten scientists explored a weather unit focused on observing changes in the weather. Through daily discussions and learning experiences, students built their understanding of how weather affects our world. Students designed and decorated their own simple tools to observe the wind, incorporating spring-themed and wind-inspired artwork. This lesson highlighted both Critical Thinking and Creativity while helping students learn that wind is moving air that can push and move things around them. If your child is attending kindergarten in the fall, registration is open.  Please be sure to complete both the online registration and the proof of residency meeting to complete the process.  Both must be completed to be registered.  One additional date, Tuesday, June 16th,  has been added for the Kindergarten Fun Visit.  If you are registered and did not attend a session, please check your email to sign up.
