This year, all students in kindergarten will be issued one Chromebook for their use both at home and at school. This technology has already been introduced in the classroom and by providing students the needed technology at home, students will be able to complete assignments through Google Classroom and the online platforms across settings.
Chromebooks will be sent home with your child starting on November 4th. Your child will initially be responsible for only bringing their charged chromebooks to and from school on Thursdays and Fridays.
All parents are asked to reinforce the following in regards to chromebooks at home:
- No food or drinks near chromebooks.
- Only use the chromebooks with clean hands.
- Chromebooks are to be on a flat hard surface when in use and when being stored.
- Keep chromebooks away from siblings and pets.
- Do not walk or carry an open chromebook. Carry a closed chromebook with two hands when moving the chromebook.
- Send chromebooks to school with a full charge. Chargers have been provided and may stay at home.
