Excitement filled the Kindergarten Center as we approach Halloween. Students learned that skeletons are more than just spooky halloween decorations and that bones help shape bodies and protect organs. They explored pumpkins, inside and out, while learning the difference between a pumpkin and a jack o’lantern. Students expanded their math lessons by counting seeds and practiced reading their own mini stories with words they just learned. The fun will continue tomorrow as students visit the Kindergarten Center’s Pumpkin Patch and show off their creativity by decorating them! Have you seen the pumpkin vine near the Kindergarten Center sign?
