Students have found their rhythm within the classroom and are excited to learn. Our student authors are creating personal narratives, our mathematicians are decomposing and composing numbers through 10, our scientists are exploring nature and life cycles of plants, and our hearts and minds are establishing a growth mindset! What a great place to be during the fall months as the air gets colder and the days get shorter!!
Please remember to follow the Daily Screener prior to coming to school each day. If your child presents with any of the symptoms presented on the list, they should stay home and their absences should be reported to school prior to the start of the school day. Absences may be reported to kcenterattendance@rutherfordschools.org or the main office, 201-438-7675 ext 6219. When in doubt, please contact our school nurse with any health related concerns.
The drop off line has been a convenient way for students to come to school and to promote social distancing on school property. Please be sure your child is able to exit the car in a timely manner. Face masks should already be on prior to pulling up to the school as this can delay the flow of traffic. If your car has a child safety lock on, please park and walk your child to the corner or front of the school. Parents are not to exit vehicles and students need to be able to independently exit.
Please continue to model proper mask wearing and maintain social distancing as these are key components to help slow the spread of CoVid19 within our community.
