Happy Birthday Johnny Appleseed.  As legend has it, Johnny Appleseed was a kind man who travelled our country with nothing more than his cooking pot as a hat and a bag full of apple seeds.  He planted his seeds wherever he went so the trees would produce apples for others to eat!  Johnny Appleseed would have enjoyed today at the Kindergarten Center with a variety of apple themed activities including counting apples, comparing apples, coloring and cutting apples, taking apples and even making apple sauce!   … [Read more...] about A is for Apples
