Back to School Welcome Videos

It has been an exciting time in your kindergartener's life and we are so happy they are a part of our community.  As we go forward, we invite parents/guardians to be an active part of their child's learning. Just a reminder that teachers and our school nurse have created welcome videos to share what a day in the life of a Kindergartener looks like and how to support their students at home. Meet Mr. Foster

Mr. Foster is the Kindergarten Center's Physical Education Teacher. This is Mr. Foster’s first year with the Rutherford School District.  Mr. Foster enjoys football and lacrosse! A Great First Full Week of School at the Kindergarten Center

The first full week of Kindergarten was a success! Daily routines were established within the classrooms and students were excited about their days at the Kindergarten Center. Drop-off Lane

Parents/Guardians are strongly encouraged to use the drop-off lane daily.  This promotes social distancing as we start our day.  Parents are to pull up as far as they can, the child is to exit independently, and the child is to close the door behind them.  Please do not park or get out of the car in the drop-off lane.  Staff is there to ensure they safely enter the building. High Five to ALL Our HOMETOWN HEROES!

Let's give an Air High Five to ALL of our hometown heroes here in Rutherford!  As students learn to come together as a learning community at the Kindergarten Center, our lessons extend beyond our Kindergarten community. Annually, the Kindergarten Center has recognized the efforts of the first responders in an age appropriate recognition of September 11th, however this year, the Kindergarten Center would like to further extend our thanks and extend our gratitude to ALL the hometown heroes.
