For the sixth consecutive year, Rutherford Public Schools will be conducting a Jumpstart Program. The program is open to all Rutherford students registered in kindergarten or grade 1 for the upcoming 2017 – 2018 school year. The program is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, and end on Thursday, August 3, 2017. Classes will meet from 8:30 a.m.to 12:30 p.m. at Lincoln School at 414 Montross Avenue. Spring has sprung!
Students and staff at the Kindergarten Center are excited to see the first signs of spring! The warmer weather allows for more opportunities to learn outdoors and, of course, playing on the playground! Inside, the kindergarten students are blossoming each day! Students are working with numbers to 100, writing sentences, and reading books with friends! The Kindergarten Center is working on the character trait of responsibility. Read Across Rutherford was a huge success. Students from Rutherford High School visited schools throughout the district reading books by Dr. Seuss.
