Second-grade students from Mrs. Fesken, Mrs. DeRosa, and Ms. Parikh’s classes collaborated to demonstrate leadership inspired by the values of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. During our January All-School Sing, students proudly presented leadership messages and sayings centered on kindness, fairness, and doing what is right to the entire school community.
The classes also created a unique, creative poster highlighting their own leadership values, which were proudly displayed. Through this meaningful experience, students demonstrated key Rutherford Graduate Competencies, including collaboration, creativity, communication, and citizenship.
