As part of our Read Across America celebration, Washington School hosted guest readers throughout the week. Included were Board of Education Trustee, Ms. Diane Jones, Supervisor of Planning, Research, and Testing, Mr. Charles Ryan, and Rutherford Public Library Children’s Librarian, Mrs. Jane Tarantino. Earlier in the week, members of the Future Teacher’s Club, the Public Speaking Club, and the Spanish Club from Rutherford High School read to students in all of our classrooms.
