Third-grade students in Ms. Sampedro and Mrs. Podolanczuk’s class worked together in small groups to explore math in a fun, hands-on way! Using teamwork and multiplication skills, they discovered just how many seeds can be inside a single pumpkin. To their surprise, one pumpkin had over 400 seeds!
Through this activity, students demonstrated the competencies of critical thinking and collaboration outlined in our Profile of the Rutherford Graduate initiative.
