Second graders in Mrs. DeRosa’s class discussed the meaning of peace and the sacrifices Martin Luther King Jr. made to help ensure freedom and fairness for all people. Students reflected on his message and created peace posters, then shared thoughtful ideas about how they can promote peace at school, at home, and in our community.
