A huge thank you to former Washington Elementary School student Ellie Siegel for bringing a fresh new map of the US to Washington School for students to enjoy! Ellie proposed the idea to Mrs. Saxon as part of her Eagle Scout project. Her vision meshed perfectly with the school's geography objective as students learn about a new state each month. Ellie is a member of Girl Scout Troop 166G and is working toward achieving her Eagle Scout rank. We thank Ellie for this wonderful addition to our brand-new playground!

Washington School has a brand-new playground! Students are thrilled to explore and play with their classmates on the new equipment, which features a slide, climbing structures, a tire ring, a basketball hoop, and a ricochet ball game. If your child is registered to attend the Rutherford Preschool Program (Lincoln or Washington School), preschoolers and their parents/guardians are invited to attend an open house on Wednesday, June 17th at 1:30 pm.
