As we enter the final month of the school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on all that we have accomplished together. It has been a year filled with learning, growth, and memorable experiences for our students. From the first day of school to now, our students have worked hard, shown kindness, embraced challenges, and continued to develop both academically and socially. Whether in the classroom, on the playground, during performances, field trips, or school-wide events, they have made us proud in so many ways.
As we close out the year, we wish our third graders all the best as they prepare for their next chapter at Pierrepont School. We know they will continue to shine and make us proud. June is always an exciting month at Washington School. We look forward to welcoming our incoming first graders for a visit, enjoying our annual Spring Concert featuring our first, second, and third grade students, and celebrating our third graders with special traditions including the Third Grade Breakfast, Science Fair, Carnival, and Clap Out.
I encourage all the students to stay connected with me over the summer. One of my favorite traditions is receiving summer postcards and letters from Washington students. I love hearing about your adventures, vacations, and favorite summer memories.
Thank you to our families and staff for your partnership and support throughout the year. Let’s make these final weeks of school meaningful, memorable, and full of joy.
