On Tuesday, October 3, students at Washington School participated in the annual “Hoops & Goals” fundraiser to benefit Alex’s Superhero Fund, Inc. and the Andrew Ortega Foundation.
Alex’s Superhero Fund, Inc., is a foundation committed to providing financial assistance to local families who are caring for children with cancer and other terminal illnesses The fund also supports the Tomorrow’s Children Institute.
The Andrew Ortega Foundation was established in 2010 in an effort to prevent Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) in middle and high school-aged children through awareness, screenings and action.
