Washington School hosted a very touching, student-led Memorial Day assembly honoring local veterans and family members who have served our country. Students demonstrated Rutherford competencies such as citizenship, communication, and caring through patriotic songs, a presentation about America’s White Table, and facts about the American flag. The assembly reflected respect, gratitude, and pride as students thoughtfully recognized and honored our special guests. It was a special day for the Washington School family.
