First graders were in for a special treat when their teacher, Ms. Maciag, took on the role of President George Washington and visited classrooms throughout the school! Dressed as our nation’s first president, she shared fun and interesting facts about his life and leadership. Mrs. Fesken’s second-grade class was especially prepared with thoughtful questions as they had been learning about President Washington. Students eagerly asked about his role in history, his leadership, and what life was like during his time. It was a wonderful way to bring history to life and engage students in meaningful learning experiences.
