Third Grade Discovery students enjoyed weeding and harvesting from the Washington School garden. The vegetables and herbs that were planted by last year’s Discovery students (now at Pierrepont School), along with perennial plants that regenerated in the garden plots, have yielded quite a bounty. Students tasted yellow and red cherry tomatoes, kale, carrots, spearmint, peppermint, and Thai basil. We also found three sugar baby pumpkins, which will be used to make pumpkin pie later this year!
