The holiday season can be a wonderful time of reflection and appreciation. At Washington School, we are fortunate to have the support from all the families that make up our school community. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with our students each day. Thus, with great appreciation, and on behalf of our entire staff at Washington School, I extend our best wishes for a relaxing and joy-filled holiday season with family and friends!
Please read on for more information about current and future school events.
Thank you to all who attended our annual Thanksgiving Parade and Assembly program and contributed to our accompanying food drive. The multipurpose room was literally filled to capacity as we ushered in the holiday season with this spirited community event. Along the way, we contributed 14 boxes of food to the Rutherford Food Pantry.
Community service continues in the month of December with our holiday mitten and hat tree. Please consider sending in a donation for the less fortunate. On December 4, our students enjoyed a presentation of The Nutcracker given by the Garden State Ballet. Our students are looking for to the PTA-sponsored Holiday Boutique.
