Read Across America
At Washington School, we celebrated Read Across America Day as Read Across America Week (2/27-3/3)! We had have community leaders serve as guest readers during the week. On March 3, students from the RHS Future Teachers Club and the RHS Public Speaking class came to read with our students. Students and staff were invited to wear pajamas for a comfortable day of reading that included a school-wide Drop Everything and Read period (DEAR) and other activities.
