Washington School celebrated its third annual Walk for Washington, bringing students and staff together for a day filled with school spirit, smiles, and fun. As a PTA fundraiser, students walked laps to raise money in support of our PTA and all they do for our school community.
The excitement continued with music, dancing, and a special appearance by our Washington Bulldog mascot. DJ Melfa kept the energy high with a fantastic playlist, and the celebration ended on a high note as several of our third-grade leaders led everyone in singing the Washington School song. πΆ
Beyond the fun, Walk for Washington provides a meaningful opportunity for students to develop the Profile of a Rutherford Graduate competencies of Collaboration, Character, and Citizenship. Students come together as a school community, demonstrate school pride, and contribute to a shared goal by supporting our PTA.
Walk for Washington is a wonderful way to kick off the school year, strengthen connections, and celebrate what makes Washington so special. Thank you to our PTA, staff, and students for making this annual tradition such a success. What a fantastic way to build Bulldog pride as we head into the holiday season! ππ€πΎ
