Ms. Sampedro and Mrs. Podolanczuk’s class kicked off Kindness Week with a hands-on, collaborative activity that taught a powerful lesson. Students squeezed all the toothpaste out of their tubes and then tried to put it back in. Through this activity, students learned that words can have a lasting impact, and just like toothpaste, once they’re out, they can’t be taken back! Students were reminded to think before they speak and to always choose kindness in their words and actions.
