During the month of March, Mrs. Valente combined math lessons on money and Women’s History. As students learned about counting coin values, they also learned about a new U.S. program that is putting notable women on the back of quarters. After learning about many women who made important accomplishments in our country, each student wrote about a notable woman in their own life!
