This month Lincoln School is focusing on the hard character trait- LOVE. Love is a variety of feelings, attitudes and emotions. The dictionary lists love as a noun and a verb. It is a strong feeling of affection for another person — such as you love your parents, grandparents, brother or sister, an intense emotional attachment to something — such as your pet or a treasured object, or a need or requirement for life –such as plants love the sun. Parents can teach children love by explaining that people know you love them by your actions.
“The giving of love is an education in itself.” — Eleanor Roosevelt
