This month Lincoln School is focusing on the hard character trait- Love. Love is a variety of feelings, attitudes and emotions. The dictionary lists love as a noun and a verb. It is a strong feeling of affection for another person — such as you love your parents, grandparents, brother or sister, an intense emotional attachment to something,– such as your pet or a treasured object, or a need or requirement for life –such as plants love the sun. Parents can teach children love by explaining that people know you love them by your actions.
