Third graders showcased their amazing hard work at the Science Fair! Students explored creative questions through hands-on experiments and careful observation. One student investigated what keeps the Energizer Bunny going and going, while another followed up his original experiment with a bonus question about his cat’s food preferences.
We had two third-place winners! Lukas demonstrated that the size of an electric wire affects the energy delivered to a light bulb, using clear data to support his claim. Celine documented how the leaves of a peace lily moved toward a light source and effectively communicated her findings with strong evidence.
Our second-place winner, Liam, spent more than four weeks conducting experiments, making observations, and completing multiple trials to support his research question.
Our first-place winner, Sky, investigated her dog’s food preferences and even designed a follow-up experiment to determine a favorite. According to her research, cooked chicken came out on top!
