The SEPAG came to Lincoln to make two very special announcements! First, Ms. Iocca received the Starfish Award from the parent organization. They noted Ms. Iocca delivers a sensory based learning experience that taps into students’ strengths. She reinforces therapies throughout the day and teaches students academic, social and emotional skills in such a gentle, but effective manner.
The second award was for Lincoln School in recognition of the efforts of the entire special education team! Paraprofessionals, OT, PT, speech, preschool, Behaviorists, CST, MD, teachers, inclusion and LLD teachers received the Starfish Award in the school category! Everyday these staff members make a difference to each child! They value the children and show compassion when learning or socializing is challenging and this permeates throughout the school. Congratulations to all!
