We had a great start to the school year! The students were excited to meet teachers and start classes. Please plan on attending Back to School Night on September 24th to learn more about your child’s academic program and see the classrooms.
Each month students will be exposed to one character trait, which will be defined, modeled and its application analyzed in books, history, science and current events, and in students’ ability to apply the trait. This school year, Lincoln is focusing on the hard character traits: courage, perseverance, honesty, mindfulness, gratitude, optimism, and open-mindedness. Beginning in October, we will provide suggestions for parents to reinforce the trait taught during that month.
