New KINDERGARTEN STUDENT registration, for students that are 5 years of age on or before October 1, 2025, is now open. Registration is a two-part process.
1-Parents must complete the online registration.
2-Upon completion of the online registration, you must contact the Registrar at 201-438-7675 x1112 or at registration@rutherfordschools.org to provide the necessary documents to complete your child’s enrollment.

Please note that in order for your child to be registered for Summer Enrichment Academy (SEA) or 2025-2026 Bulldog Care (before/after school care) OR to receive email communications from the district directly, both parts of the registration process must be completed.
If your child attends the Rutherford Public School Preschool Program, your child is already registered and nothing more needs to be done; however, updated medical forms should be submitted to your school’s nurse before the end of the year.
