Rutherford High School chemistry teacher Richard Byrnes has spent 14 years with the district. He has served as a leader, mentor, and key member of Rutherford High School’s STEM program/curriculum and was named Teacher of the Year in 2015. He is looking forward to catching up on some reading (a lot of it!) during his retirement as well spending more time with his family and volunteering in his community. This year, we say goodbye to some amazing people who have helped make Rutherford Public Schools the special places they are. Retirement is a major milestone, and we are grateful for the time these staff members have spent serving our students.
