Rutherford High School is proud to announce that RHS’ musical, The Lightning Thief, has received SEVEN Metro Award Nominations:
- Outstanding Cameo by a Female Identifying Performer-Liz Dunlop as Clarisse
- Student Pit Musician-Evan Statile
- Outstanding Direction-Courtney McManus and Matthew Vaccaro
- Outstanding Small Group Number-“Drive” (Danny Fencik, Jeannille Ettinoffe, Nick Scaglione, Marley Santana, Isabella Claveria, Erin Ahearn, Mia Febbo, Audrey Segedin)
- Outstanding Acting Performance by a Male Identifying Performer-Nick Scaglione as Grover Underwood
- Student Critic-Jeannille Ettinoffe
- Student Technical Achievement-Rebecca Mathews as Stage Manager
This cast has received the most nominations ever since the RHS theatre program began participating in the Metros. To say that we are proud of this cast is an understatement. The students and directors will be attending the awards ceremony on June 10 at SUNY Purchase.
