On Wednesday, October 9, a team of security professionals observed lockdown/active shooter drills at selected schools in the District. Observers were from the New Jersey Department of Education Office of School Preparedness and Emergency Planning, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, the New Jersey State Police, the Bergen County Office of Emergency Management, and the Rutherford Police Department. Exploring the Woods
Lincoln students spent some time exploring in the Lincoln Woods. Students participated in a hands-on lesson about habitats and ecosystems. Students discovered species and players in the systems such as food, water, shelter and space. Parent Academy
The Rutherford School District is committed to strengthening the parent/school connection. We are pleased to announce the opening of the Parent Academy.
