Congratulations to the Rutherford High School Select Choir for their premiere performance at the New Jersey School Boards Association's annual convention in Atlantic City. The choir is an auditioned group of singers that rehearses after school as well as during class time. It is led by Mrs. Patricia Blanchard who selects challenging repertoires for the students to learn throughout the year. This performance is one more feather in their cap as they recently performed at the Kennedy Library and Museum. Unity Day is Wednesday, October 18. Wear and share ORANGE to send a visible message that no child should ever experience bullying.
Unity Day is an annual event occurring during National Bullying Prevention Month in October that promotes joining together to create healthier communities through kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.
